NPLGNN

NPLGNN is a DJ, producer and curator from Naples currently based in Barcelona. He operates within the wide sonic spectrum of the sound-system hardcore continuum, at the intersections of mutant riddims and more abstract experimentations. Often described as the "pre-Babel language of dance music" NPLGNN's artifacts are out of time, with the only intent to shake walls and bodies. He has released music on Where To Now?, on Phonica Records sub-label OKNO, Boomkat's Reel Torque, LavaLava records, Hypermedium, YOUTH, Sferic and Hundebiss Records.

Aside from being a resident at Noods Radio in Bristol, since 2015 he runs MBE series an editorial platform and series of limited editions mixtape and zines (under which he has released tapes from Beatrice Dillon, Conor Thomas, Yousuke Yukimatsu, Nyege Nyege Tapes, Paul Daley, Zion Train and Christos Chondropoulos).

He co-runs a night in Barcelona called “Babylon” clashing industrial sonics and sound-system heritage involving international and local Djs/Musicians and he collaborates in a project with Dave Saved called Forever Now where the pair dissect forms of escapism and club culture.
